The Exile
Community campaigner Marvin is shot in cold blood as he waits for the bus. No witness is willing to come forward. Marvin’s brother Leo returns from Spain after 15 years on the run to avenge the murder. He's convinced a high profile gangster ordered the hit to silence Marvin's anti-drugs campaign. Leo kills the gangster and starts a turf war.
But Leo's been set up and the ensuing violence is used to kick start a property scam. Those behind it will make millions from land bought cheap as terror reigns, then resold after redevelopment turns the area from no-go ghetto to prime real estate.
Leo suspects his old drug smuggling partner, Asif, now a businessman and councillor who's about to become the city’s first Muslim mayor. But the scam is too big for one man and Leo must find out how powerful Asif’s new friends are before taking his revenge.

In a fight that follows he scars her face so badly she needs months of reconstructive surgery. Gianluigi searches Naples for her without success. In desperation he graffitis the entire block of flats opposite Valentina's apartment accusing her husband of murder. What unravels because of his actions leads to a brief but tragic reunion between Gianluigi and Valentina.

Pope Gregory XIII plans to replace the Julian calendar with his own more accurate Gregorian calendar as part of his plans to reform the Vatican after years of corruption.
It means losing ten days from the calendar to realign it with the heavens. However his land reforms have grave implications for a group of radicals who have everything to lose if the Pope is as uncorrupt as he makes out.
