Take Cover
Take Cover is a short film by award-winning Iranian filmmaker Nariman Massoumi exploring the alienation faced by outsiders in modern day Britain. The film follows the perceived prejudice experienced by a veiled muslim woman from those around her. Only in the privacy of her own home can she address the question of her isolation and, ultimately, who she really is.
The film was shot on the ‘RED’ camera and finished on HDCAM format for broadcast and film festival delivery. Premièred at the International Brief Encounters film festival in Bristol, 2010 and is currently attracting wide acclaim on the European festival circuit.
